Join us for a 4-Week Course Design Workshop Series in July

The Dean’s Office, LIT, and TLI are hosting a 4-week workshop series on Designing an Online or Blended Course

The program will run from July 6-31 and consist of 8 online modules in and 5 synchronous workshops. Participants are encouraged to complete 2 modules a week and attend the following sessions between 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.:

  • July 6: Kick-off session. Includes an introduction to the 4-week workshop series and keynote speakers.
  • July 10: Panel session focused on accessibility and equity, active learning activities, and discussion focusing on Modules 1-2.
  • July 17: Panel session focused on assessment, active learning activities, and discussion focusing on Modules 3-4.
  • July 24: Panel session focused on the flipped classroom, active learning activities, and discussion focusing on Modules 5-6.
  • July 31: Panel session on designing course structures, active learning activities, and discussion focusing on Modules 7-8.

These sessions will be hosted in Zoom. Consult the for information on how to connect to the Zoom meetings.

We have over 80 faculty and staff participating in the workshop series within a cohort. Cohorts are now full, but we encourage faculty and staff who are not participating in cohorts to still engage with the workshop series by completing the at your own pace and
